About 2027: The American AI Crisis
November 25, 2025, Dorado, Puerto Rico: I am Sean M. Walsh. I launched this blog because I believe that the United States of America is on the verge of an electricity shortage so large that it will jeopardize the sovereignty of our Nation.
I first identified this problem back in 2017-2018. As founder/owner of a couple of the largest Bitcoin mining operations in North America, stretching back to 2014, I learned of the numerous difficulties in dealing with the legacy electricity industry.
And, I foresaw a looming crisis.
So, as a retired Aerospace Engineer / Silicon Valley veteran would, I undertook to solve the crisis that I saw coming... a looming large-scale national electricity shortage due to massive increases in computing power.
I am proud to report that I did solve this problem. My solution resulted from a fundamental rethinking of the best way to build and power computing clusters.
By doing this, I was able to sidestep the numerous legacy grid impediments to growth. As Steve Jobs once said, "Simplicity is the greatest sophistication", and this engineering problem held true to that form.
My patented system is called a Solar Computing Cluster, and it appears to be the only system capable of solve the critical "time to power" problems plaguing America's AI aspirations.

Explain the solution I have spent over seven years on. I have been awarded many patents. I have spent many $millions proving the system at commercial scale in New Mexico.

Act as a call to action. Like some have suggested, I foresee a 21st Century Manhattan Project, focused on the weakest link of American AI supremacy, that of electricity supply for computing clusters. There are at least 50 publicly traded American companies that would profit enormously from my system, and corresponding plan. And, we can work together to save our country.
I am working through the initial manuscript of a comprehensive book on all this. While I polish that up and prepare for publication, I will release chapters here, as fast as possible.
We must organize our collective resources as soon as possible.
